SUPER -16 – The 2016 and 2017 East Division Champs start 2018 with early season control of the division once more after the Northern ‘Fins come out of the Week 2 Game of the Week in the Super 16 with a 228-202 win over the division rival Jaw Breakers.  The shootout victory was never as close as the final score would indicate, as the ‘Fins played with a lead through the entire match-up.  They now lead the series 7-4 all-time, but more importantly, take an advantage in the division race over the rest of the East as they move ahead with their 2-0-0 record.  The Pennsylvania Classic, also played this week, was another shootout, with Steel Curtain prevailing in the contest with Eagle has landed, 215-190.  that leaves the league’s Philly franchise at 0-2-0, with the Jaw Breakers and Steel Curtain each a game back from Northern Fins with 1-1-0 in the standings.

WRATH OF ODIN starts the season 2-0-0 for the first time since 2013 after their Week 2 performance puts them in the record book with the second highest sxcore ever posted in the S16

The North Division got a whole lot more interesting this week as the newly relocated WRATH OF ODIN put up the second highest score in league history in their 298-160 demolishing of division favorite Dawg Pound.  Odin actually struggled on Special teams, scoring a total of -1 points at the team Defense and kicker positions, but they wracked up double digit scores at 6 of 7 IDP positions and averaged a whopping 25 points per player at the offensive skill positions.  Quarterback Kirk Cousins, though was the rally point of the afternoon, scoring 72 points on a 425/4/1 line.  Not only does that put the old BEARMINATOR franchise into the record book, but puts them 2-0-0 to start the season for the first time since 2013, and leaves the rest of the North at 1-1-0 after Motor City beat the BowMen in a close one 206-195 and Indy fell to BIGDOG 171-136.

In the West, 1 Eye Til I Die still controls the division and advances to 2-0-0 with their 207-157 easy win over Dem Bucking Broncs, while 2017 Champion Arizona failed to right the ship in their 213-191 loss to Birds of Prey in the Super Bowl rematch and will start the season 0-2-0.  The Birds are 2-0-0 after the win, but so is their division rival, the Who Dat Saints after holding on to win 211-194 vs South Division foe WTF HOUSTON.  Going into Week 3 of the 2018 season, 5 teams remain undefeated and division leaders are starting to emarge.
