Saint-Dogs

The Super 16 Week 4 Game of the Week is the hottest ticket in the country as the Who Dat Saints (2-1-0) face off with BIGDOGINTEX (1-2-0) in a SimulPlay match telecast live in primetime on Sunday Night Football. Tickets are reportedly reselling online for as much as $10,000 a piece for this South Division showdown. The Who Dats are coming off 2 consecutive 200+ point wins, including last week’s monster 240 point performance in Denver, all without the use of their injured star quarterback. With their only loss of the season, a week 1 heartbreaking 1 point loss to division rival Houston, they’re already outpacing the division leading Birds of Prey in total scoring on the year.

BIGDOG is off to a frustrating start in 2019, with back to back losses in weeks 2 and 3 after a promising blow-out win to start the season, but the franchise is the healthiest it’s been in several years after suffering multiple injury and suspension plagued seasons. This week’s game against the Who Dats is the first of a two game stand against the S16’s Saint franchise, and the Big Dogs from Dallas will be looking to get their first division win out of at least one of them. The last time these franchises met was another Game of the Week contest in week 13 last season where the Dogs came out on top 178-158, and this rematch has a similar over/under but with the Dogs as true underdogs.

It came down to a defensive battle between these two high fl;ying offenses, with 11 defensive starters between the two of them p[osting double digit performances, including 4 30 point outings, but the Who Dats got a lot of help from their Patriot players to come out on top.  They are now the #1 scoring team in the league but sitting behind Houston in the division unless a stat correction erases the unexpected Texan win over Birds of Prey.
