IX     Schedule

  • Regular season will be Weeks 1-14
  • League will play a double round robin schedule (Weeks 1-14) in which every team will play every other team twice
  • Schedule will be generated by League hosting website (NFL.com)

X    Playoffs/Championship

  • There are no ‘playoffs’, as such, in League 28
  • After the conclusion of Week 14, the top two teams (by standings) will play for the championship in a Championship Series
  • The Championship Series will be a best of 3 game series in Weeks 15, 16, and 17 in which 2 or more wins through the 3 games will result in winning the League Championship
  • There is no setting option on League hosting website (NFL.com) for a best of 3 Championship Series, so therefore:
  • Playoff Settings will be set to ‘No Playoffs’
  • The two teams qualifying for the Championship Series (top two by standings at the conclusion of Week 14) will be manually scheduled by LM in matchups for weeks 15, 16, and 17 and rosters for ALL OTHER TEAMS WILL BE LOCKED
  • The NFL.com default for leagues with ‘no playoffs’ selected, is for the website to award the Championship to the team with the best 17 week record at the conclusion of Week 17. Any Champion crowned by default by NFL.com will be voided and League Champion (money winner) will be adjusted by LM to reflect the winner of the Championship Series as specified in League Rules
  • Winning payouts will not be disbursed until after stat corrections have been issued by the NFL on the Thursday following Week 17

XI     Tiebreakers

  • Individual Match-ups are allowed to end in ties, except in the case of the 3 games played as a part of the Championship Series (Weeks 15, 16, and 17) (see below)
