League 28 Rules

League 20-EIGHT

RULE BOOK

I     General

A.   These will serve to be the official rules for Associated Fantasy's League 20-Eight (League 28)

B.   For anything not covered in these rules, please refer to the League Settings page at League website;  League will be hosted on Fleaflicker.com

C.   All arbitration of League Rules to be arbitrated solely by League Manager (LM)

D.   LM may maintain their own team in the tournament, OR may be listed as Commissioner without an attached team

E.   Should any unforeseen event arise not covered explicitly in the rules, LM will exercise final judgment

1.    Any LM judgment made outside of specified rules that involves LM’s team will cause LM’s team to be removed from Championship eligibility

F.   League Rules are subject to adjustment/revision before draft/entry fee refund deadline, and will be marked ‘LOCKED’ once any changes are final

G.   If, for any reason, there is a discrepensy between rules listed in these rules and settings listed on the League Settings page of the host site, settings page on host site will supercede

II     Format

A.     8 Teams; Redraft; Paid Entry/Payout; Head-to-Head match-ups

III     Entry Fee/Payouts

A.     League 28 is a paid entry league

    1. Entry fee is $128.50(US) payable through LeagueSafe.com
    2. LM will set deadline for payment of entry fees

B.     Prize Pool will equal $1028.00(US) ($128.50 x 8 teams = $1028)

    1. Payouts will not bne disbursed until after weekly stat corrections are released on the final Thursday of the NFL Regular Season
    2. Champion (1st Place) Payout will equal $100.00(US)
    3. Runner-Up (2nd PLace) Payout will equal $28.00(US)
IV     Rosters

A.     League 28 will utilize its own Custom Roster Package outside of AF-Specified Packages

    1. No position minimum/maximums will be in effect

B.     Bench = 8 spots

C.     Starters:

V     Draft

A.     Draft will be held live, online at a date and time TBD

    1. Draft is serpentine style (1-8, 8-1, 1-8, etc)
    2. 28 Rounds in length
    3. 60 seconds are alotted for each pick

B.     Draft Order

    1. Prior to the League Draft, once all slots are filled, draft order will be randomly generated by the Draft Order Randomizer at FFToolbox.com
    2. All Teams' contact email will be placed into the Draft Order Randomizer and the tool will automatically generate an email to all teams with the League 28 Draft Order
    3. Once randomized, draft order will remain as is. In the event that a team withdraws from the league, after the draft order has been randomized but before the start of the season, the team that replaces them will assume the withdrawn team's draft slot
VI     Scoring

A.     Offensive Scoring

    1. League 28 will utilize the AF-PPR Offensive Scoring Package with the Decimal Option set to "NO"

B.     Defensive Scoring

    1. League 28 will utilize the AF-Standard Team Defense Scoring Package

VII     Free Agency/Trades

A.     Free Agency

    1. Waivers are revolving/never reset/move to last after successful claim
    2. 2 Day Waiver Period
    3. Players lock at individual game time
    4. Player cycling is prohibited
    5. Initial Waiver Priority Order is inverse order of first round of the draft

B.     Trades

    1. Trades are approved by League Vote
    2. Trade Approval time-frame is 2 days
    3. Trade Deadline is Week 10

C.     Transactions

    1. An Add/Drop Transaction Limit of 28 Transactions for the season will be in effect
    2. Drops and coresponding Adds are counted together as one single transaction
    3. Trades do not count against the transaction limit for either trading party
    4. Transaction Counts will be removed at the conclusion of Week 14, allowing Championship Series Teams unlimited transactions
VIII     Schedule/Regular Season

A.     Regular Season will be Weeks 1-14

    1. Teams will play a randomized, double round robin schedule in which every team in the league will play every other team in the league exactly twice
IX    Playoffs/Championship

A.     In lieu of a traditional playoff format, League 28 will utilize a 2-team Championship Series

    1. Championship Series will take place in Weeks 15, 16, and 17 (if neccessary)
    2. The Top 2 teams by W-L-T Record (tiebreakers in effect) at the conclusion of Week 14 will qualify for inclusion in the Championship Series

B.     Championship Series

    1. Championship Series will be a best of 3 series of head to head matches
    2. The first of the two Championship Series Teams to record two wins (in any order) during the Series' Weeks 14, 15, and 16 will be declared League Champion and will receive the 1st Place Payout
    3. If either team wins in both Weeks 15 and 16, the Week 17 game will be meaningless
    4. Losing Team will be declared League Runner-Up and will receive the 2nd Place payout

C.     Ties

    1. Individual Games within the Championship Series are allowed to end in ties; See Section X Tiebreakers for order of progression for a tied Championship Series
X     Tiebreakers

A.     Individual Match-ups of both the regular season and the Championship Series are allowed to end in ties

B.     Progression of tiebreakers for Standings Ties in determining the 2 teams to qualify for the Championship Series are as follows:

    1. Total Regular Season Points (Weeks 1-14)
    2. Head-to-head record
    3. Head-to-head cumulative points
    4. Total, combined FLEX position points in head-to-head matches
    5. Total, combined FLEX position points in Regular Season (Weeks 1-14)
    6. Total, combined kicking points in head-to-head matches
    7. Total, combined kicking points in Regular Season (Weeks 1-14)
    8. Total, combined TEAM DEF points in head-to-head matches
    9. Total, combined TEAM DEF points in Weeks 1-14
    10. Coin Flip

C.     Progression of tiebreakers for the Championship Series should each team win one game a piece and tie in one of the 3 games are as follows:

    1. Total Championship Series Points
    2. Total, combined FLEX position points in Championship Series
    3. Total, combined kicker position points in Championship Series
    4. Total, combined TEAM DEF position points In Championship Series
    5. Total, combined RB position points in Championship Series (does not include RBs starting at FLEX)
    6. Total, combined QB position points in Championship Series
    7. Total, combined TE position points in Championship Series (does not include TEs starting at FLEX)
    8. Total, combined WR position points in Championship Series (does not include WRs starting at FLEX)
    9. Team with highest total number of receptions among starting WRs (includes WRs starting at FLEX)
    10. Team with highest total number of TDs among starting RBs (includes RBs starting at FLEX)
    11. Team with highest total, combined passing yards at QB position
    12. Team with longest successful Field Goal attempt among starting kickers
    13. Team with highest total, combined sacks at starting TEAM DEF position
    14. Total Regular Season and CHampionship Series Points Combined
    15. Head-to-head record in Regualr Season and Championship Series Combined
    16. Head-to-head cumulative points in Regular Season and Championship Series combined
    17. Total, combined FLEX position points in head-to-head matches in Regular Season and Championship Series combined
    18. Total, combined kicking points in head-to-head matches in Regular Season and Championship Series combined
    19. Total, combined TEAM DEF points in head-to-head matches in Regular Season and Championship Series combined
    20. If still tied after 19th tiebreaker, Championship Match ends in tie and total winnings are split evenly (50/50) with each of the two championship teams receiving a prize payout of $514.00
X     Special Rule

A.     Participation in tournament is limited to one entry per household/IP address

B.     After all tournament slots are filled but before draft order has been established, Fleaflicker.com will be contacted to verify that all participants registered with tournament are originating from different IP addresses to verify that no participant is registered with multiple teams

C.     Multiple teams originating from the same IP address will result in immediate expulsion of all teams involved
