League 28 Goes High-Stakes
League 28 – Through a process three seasons in the making, AF’s League 28 is now moving forward with it’s full scale conversion to a high-stakes money league for the 2016 season.
With a distinctive format and only 8 teams, League 28 is the smallest league in the Associated Fantasy family of leagues, but its still big on action, with 20 starters from a 28 player roster, it rewards coaches who really know how to collect the talent. Now it’ll have a pay-day to match the action as 2016 marks the launch of the League’s $1000 prize pool. With a $128.00 entry fee, it’s definately not for the faint of heart, but if you’re ready to put your wallet where your fantasy pride is, League 28 is the league to do it. It features a 28 round draft – randomly ordered ahead of time so you can plan your strategy, a double round robin schedule to limit the effects of luck, and a waiver auction budget to level the waiver playing field. Statistically, League 28 gives you a 1 in 8 chance at winning a cool grand, while the best of 3 championship series format, means you won’t be kicking yourself after losing a championship on a missed field goal or anything silly like that.
