Association Charters The Suicide Squad Racing Society

SUICIDE SQUAD – After announcing earlier this week that it was pulling support for the conversion of the 2016 Roster Barons Tournament into an AF League, the Association has granted a charter to the Suicide Squad Racing Society’s Points-Race League to begin play in the 2017 season under full league status in the Association.  The SS-PRL is a paid entry, 12 team league that utilizes a total points system rather than weekly match-ups and W-L standings, with a $25 entry fee and payouts of $150, $100, and $50 to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, all handled through LeagueSafe.com.

The inaugural draft is already scheduled – Tuesday, September 5 at 10:00pm EDT – for the league that still has several open spots to fill; it was opened up to old Roster Barons teams first, and then made available to all AF Registered Coaches, and is now being opened to the general public.   The draft will be 26 rounds in length for the racers to stock their team with talent, a necessary sized roster as the SS-PRL does not allow any adds through the course of the season.  The starting roster uses the AF Arena format – 2 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 FLEX, 1 K, 1 DEF – and AF Arena scoring, and requires teams to drop one player each week throughout the course of the season, which is set up to leave teams with just enough for a starting line-up by Week 17.  Spots will fill fast in this new Association League so use the form below to become a charter member today.
