AFFL Set to Play Inaugural Season

AFFL – The Association announced the formation of it’s new flagship enterprise this summer, and the filling of the new league is already underway.  The all new Associated Fantasy Football League – a 20 team dynasty USFL tribute league  – has spent almost 3 years in development by the Association and is now set to kickoff in the 2019 season.  Coaches that participated in the test league over the last two seasons, where settings and scoring values went on a trial run, as well as AF Registered Coaches, got first option on the new league’s available franchises earlier this year, but registration is now open to all AF League and Tournament coaches to reserve one of the franchises for the inaugural year.

The AFFL has been designed as a tribute-league to the old USFL, and the 80’s are back as AF brings you 20 franchises in a salary cap – dynasty format, with custom large-league roster settings that have been matched to parallel offensive and defensive scoring settings, that will allow teams to win with offense….or with defense.  As a long-term dynasty format with salary caps (and planned contract caps, as well), coaches can build their team for the long haul, or go all-in for a championship run in a format built specifically to respond to multiple tactics and strategies. With too many features to list, the AFFL is the most comprehensive fantasy experience AF has ever offered and will set a new standard of excitement and competiveness for large league fantasy football.

All franchises are based on the original teams of the old USFL with 14 franchises still available and ready to be located.  The Association is looking for coaches interested in being in it for the long haul to fill those remaining teams before the 2019 season.  Interested coaches can go to the AFFL Rules Page to get more information on how the league is set up and can check out the AFFL League Page to see which franchises are still available and to reserve theirs today.  Act now, before your favorite team is snatched up by another coach.  You can use the submision form below or the one at the bottom of the League Page is to reserve your team early.
