Addicts After Hours Play-Off Race Tightening
FANTASY ADDICTS – As the rest of the fantasy world is thick into the draft season as players careen toward opening day 2016 on September 8, Addicts After Hours, the off-season group sponsored by AF’s flagship league Fantasy Addicts is racing to it’s finish. The latest scoring updates are in as the After Hours playoff season reaches the half-way point. Black Sheep, seemingly out of the running a few weeks ago, has closed the gap and is now neck and neck with the WhyNots for second place, reaching 62 points, largely on the back of Cam Newton‘s 21 total pre-season points. The WhyNots failure to submit their playoff players in time for Week 1 of the NFL pre-season actually helped them as RGIII would have hit them with -3 points in that first game. Instead, the WhyNots hold a slight grip on second place at 65 points after Griffin’s 10 point outing vs Atlanta. The WhyNots second player, Ezekiel Elliot has yet to make his debut, but is expected to do so Thursday.
Orange Lantern Corp remains in 4th place with a 45 point total, but the prospect of Jared Goff getting significant game time in game 3 keeps them firmly in the running. Apex Predators, who had a strong first place perch at 79 points, still has not submitted any playoff players, and risks being overtaken by both Black Sheep and the WhyNots before the After Hours pre-season playoffs conclude.
