Dragons Become Devils’ Handmaidens
WORLD LEAGUE – The 2015 defending Champion Dragons remain win-less in 2016 as the Dacusville Devils defeat them 129-110, posting the high score of the week. The Devils went up early, behind a 3 TD game by their franchise back Matt Forte on Thursday night and never looked back. The win-less Dragons suffered injuries to both their starting halfback and receiver, and despite a 3 touchdown performance from their quarterback and a monster 31 point outing from their defense, they could not catch the Devils. Dacusville advances to 2-0 on the season, and moves into 1st place in the Western Conference with the Blue Dogs who defeated a City of Champions team who the Devils will play in Week 3.
rival Old England who handed Dublin Bay their first loss in a lopsided 115-77 affair. It’ll be London and Dublin Bay in Week 3 as Old England takes on the Cheeseheads who are still searching for their first win. Jerusalem joins Mexico and Los Angeles in looking for their first win, as Scandinavia and New Orleans each get their first wins of the season at the expense of the Cheeseheads and Aztecs, respectively.
