2019 Pro Bowl Starters Set

PRO BOWL – The starters of this year’s AF Pro BOwl Tournament have been set and it’s lining up to be the most competetive tournament ever, with two past champions, a three-time nominee, the first ever write in candidate seated and a historic first time head to head meeting of representatives of the rival IFFL and World Leagues.  The AF Pro Bowl Tournament is the premier, best of the best competition of the Associated Fantasy, where 6 coaches battle to be named the Best Team in the Association.

The road to the Pro Bowl begins with the best coaches and teams of the previous season being nominated by AF staff and then voted on by their peers – with all AF league teams (80 total last season)  entitled to cast a three ballot vote.  The top teams earn the honor of representing their leagues the following season in the most challenging fantasy competition around.  The teams compete for tournament points through a 15 week head to head schedule where wins are worth 10 points a piece (ties equal 5 points), transactions are limited to just 20 add/drops for the season, and an array of bonus tournament points are available in this ultimate fantasy skills test.

The highest score each week receives 7 points, with descending bonuses for the other teams, and having a starting lineup that outscores their bench will earn teams another 5 points.  Tanking their bench personnel won’t help, though, because the highest scoring bench also receives a bonus, 5 points with descending bonuses for the other bench scores.  Successfully lining up the highest scoring of their players in the flex position of their starting lineups will earn teams additional bonuses, and game picks from an attached NFL pick-’em game are worth half a point for each accurate prediction.  The top two of the 6 after 15 weeks, will face off against each other in an epic, two-week championship game where both their starters and bench will post scores, along with bonus points for pick-’em predictions and line-up efficiency.

When the dust settles, the tournament winner will earn the right of being recognized as the Best Team in the Association for the next 365 days.
