Whales Replace Eagles
Rumors have been leaking out of the IFFL Offices for a couple of weeks now, but they were confirmed today that the 2014 League Champion Mali Eagles have withdrawn from the league. In a release from late Friday, it has been confirmed that they will be replaced by new franchise Venice Killer Whales. The entry of the Venice franchise also gives the IFFL a renewed presence in Italy after the loss of 2014 entry Florence Wild Boys. The Killer Whales, since they are replacing Mali, will assume the Eagle’s 8th overall draft slot.
With the league now at 100%, the draft is set to move forward as scheduled on Sunday, September 6.
