London Falling got off to a convincingly dominant start with Week 1’s highest score. Buenos Aires topped the Western Conference, and Jerusalem topped the East as the last two remaining undefeated teams in Week 2. The Buenos Aires Blue Dogs moved to 3-0 after defeating New Orleans in Week 3. In a very close game, the Old England Patriots edged rival London Falling to take control of the Eastern Conference as the WFL raised awareness for breast cancer with their “Love Pink” campaign. Buenos Aires and Old England both won in Week 5 to advance to 4-1 records staying in the lead in their Conferences, setting up a perfect storm for their head to head match-up in Week 6. Winning is nothing new for Old England, the WFL’s winningest franchise as they move to 5-1, dispatching the best of the west as they beat Buenos Aires 107-84 in Week 6. The Scandinavian Stars posted the high score of Week 7. Old England lost to the Aztecs, but remained in first. Halloween time means time to play dress up and to begin the playoff push. With a 93-73 Week 9 victory over Dublin Bay, Los Angeles shot up to 3rd overall; Buenos Aires remained #1, and Old England fell all the way to #4 Buenos Aires advanced their record to 7-3 after steamrolling the Prawns 123-49 in Week 10. The Blue Dogs remained first overall in the league at this point, after London defeated Buenos Aires’ division rival City of Champions for them. The Scandinavian Stars pulled off a Week 11 upset 108-91 over league #1 Buenos Aires. Even the refs need cheering on. Cheeseheads secured first overall at the end of the Regular Season. The Los Angeles Dragons advanced to the Western Conference Championship after their 113-64 win over City of Champions.
