It’s tough being a team from Texas when you’re stuck in the same division as the Birds of Prey and Who Dat Saints and having to play each of them twice a year. Just ask BIGDOGINTEX who suffered a SimulPlay loss to the Super 16’s New Orleans franchise in last week’s Game of the Week and will be facing them again in a week 5 rematch. This week’s featured game, is another SimulPlay Game between the league’s Houston and Atlanta clubs. WTF HOUSTON is 3-1 and in first place in the South Division, thanks to a 1 point victory over the Saints in Week 1, But Birds of Prey are 3-1 as well – and so are the Who Dat Saints – and each of them are just biding their time, waiting for a mistep from one of their Lone Star rivals.
Houston is ranked all the way down at 11th in the league in total scoring while BIGDOGINTEX is ranked 5th, but the Who Dats and Birds are ranked 1st and 4th, respectively. Birds of Prey have absolutely dominated the historical series between these two teams, although another way to spin that would be to point out that the 3 victories Houston has over BoP are actually more wins than any other team has against the league’s winningest franchise, and the spread in this one just has the Birds favored by 8 while the Who Dats are overwhelming 25 point favorites in their rematch with BIGDOG. Not easy at all being a Texas team in the S16 South.

Everything might not be bigger in Texas, but Houston’s score certainly was as they set the pit to high, smoking the Birds of Prey in this SimulPlay battle. On the strength of a 53-32 Texan win over Atlanta, WTF HOUSTON scored over 100 points alone between quarterback DeSahaun Watson and go-to receiver Will Fuller. The victory leaves houston in first place in the South thanks to a single point head to head win over the Who Dats as BoP has now lost 2 in a row.
