Fantasy Overtime

GOW 15-7The Super Chargers managed to tie with 1 Eye with an interception on the final play of the week to force the first ever Game of the Week overtime. It will be sudden death. Stat corrections come out Thursday morning and could swing the game one way or another. In the same exciting MNF game, after trailing all weekend, the Firebirds pulled ahead of the Foster Kids on a 4th quarter sack before the interception sealed the game. Arizona remains number one in the division, but the BowMen are still right on their heels after their 195-126 spanking of the BIGDOGS.

In the South Division, Birds of Prey easily dispatched the Who Dats in their rivalry rematch, extending their regular season winstreak to an unbelievable 14 games. At 7-0, 5 games ahead of their nearest division foe (Who Dat Nation 2-5) and with a double-head-to-head win, Birds of Prey can amazingly clinch the South Division Championship with a win next week vs the LA Super Chargers.

The Ice Cold Bruschis continue to dominate the East. Now at 7-0, they’ve swept the Jawbreakers, posted a win vs the Eagle, and now face a backpatriot pete2 to back series against the Fins. Their 7 game win streak now puts them 4th on the all time win-streak record list, tied with The Dawg Pound.

The Dawg Pound is currently on a losing streak, though, as they lose to division rival Motor City, dropping them behind the Kitties into 2nd place. The two face each other again in the season finale. Indy delivered another defeat to the defending champion BEARMINATORS who fall to 0-7, still looking for their first win.

Game of the Week candidates:

Ice Cold Bruschis vs Nothern Fins – A SimulPlay division matchup between a suddenly surging Fins squad that’s averaged 193 points over their last two games and a seemingly invincible Bruschi team

Birds of Prey vs Los Angeles Super Chargers – by far the toughest opponent the Birds have faced all season, and the toughest they will face untill they play the Bruschis in Week 12. Can the Superchargers break their record winstreak or will the Birds extend it to 15 and win their division in the process?
