Dragons Overtake West
WORLD LEAGUE – The 2015 defending World League Champion Los Angeles Dragons have overcome a 2-3 start to pull into first place in the Western Conference after their 72-57 Week 9 victory over Dublin Bay who have now dropped 3 in a row to fall to third place in the conference. The win marks the fourth in a row for the Dragons, coached by AF Registered Coach Joey Drakor and who now have a 6-3 record and a fractional point advantage over the second place 6-3 Dacusville Devils.
The Devils lost 96-118 to the Scandinavian Stars to leave the door open for the Dragons. With that victory, the Stars are now 2nd place in the Eastern Conference, overtaking Dublin Bay and keeping pace with Old England. The 7-2 Patriots now enjoy at least a 1 game lead over everyone in the league after defeating the Acadians 107-75.
