In the IFFL, Cardiff came up big this week, besting expansion powerhouse and division rival Venice 178-144 to even their record with the Whales at 7-3. Venice still controls the division on the strength of a superior season points total, but in week 11 the Whales must face the League’s points leader, NGC, while Cardiff draws their arch rival Claymores of Scottland. In the West, Mexico City also advanced to 7-3, where they remain #1 in division and in the league after narrowly getting away with a 104-95 win vs Seattle. They will play the 5-5 Greek Wonders in week 11.
