World League hits 100%

WFL Champs 2014The World Fantasy League is celebrating a 100% return rate of teams for the 2015 season – almost unprecedented in the world of anonymous online fantasy!  The WFL is poised for a spectacular season in 2015 – its 4th – as, not only did they have 12 out of 12 teams sign on to return, but they are launching into an inaugural season under new dynasty keeper rules this year.  The League’s long-running email draft will get under way on Monday 8-17 as the first AF League to begin drafting this year.  WFL fans will be able to follow the draft’s progress here at AF through the preseason.

The press release from World League headquarters, announcing the upcoming start of the draft followed closely on the heels of rival league IFFL announcing they had expanded into the Australian market.  The strong state of the league that the WFL enjoys is sure to put a damper on supporters of the upstart IFFl who – in spite of new teams in Mexico and Australia – are still waiting on 2015 confirmation from it’s defending champion Mali Eagles
