IFFL Expands Down Under
The IFFL welcomes its newest franchise, as the Perth Panthers are ready to take the field in 2015, expanding the IFFL’s reach to include Australia. It’s not clear yet if the league will be aligning their new Aussie franchise in either the East or West Division, but the signing positions the League nicely for its stated goal of expanding and challenging the older WFL for stature and status within Associated Fantasy. Could a western Pacific division be in the works for the IFFL? The World League hasn’t had a far Eastern presense since the Guangzhou Rams were ejected for draft fixing in the 2014 offseason.
The Panthers replace the Florence Wild Boys, who’s franchise disolved, and as such will assume Florence’s #9 draft slot.
