Tournament Rules

I     General

  • These will serve to be the official rules for AF’s Ten/100 Battle-Royale Tournament
  • For anything not covered in these rules, please refer to the League Settings page at League website:
  • All arbitration of Tournament Rules to be arbitrated solely by Tournament Coordinator (TC)
  • Should any unforeseen event arise not covered explicitly in the rules, TC will exercise final judgment
  • Any TC decision not covered in the rules that involves TC’s team and must be ruled on by TC, will cause TC’s team to be removed from Championship eligibility

II     Format

  • 10 Teams; All-vs-All 17 Week Standings Race
  • The Ten/100 is an “Open” Entry Tournament
    • All slots filled on a first apply – first entry basis
  • Teams may enter in back to back seasons, but must re-enter each year

  • Entry Fee for the Tournament will be $10.00(US)
  • Entry Fee is payable at time of registration and deadline may be extended at sole discretion of TC
  • Total prize pool from all entry fees and all Draft antes will be $100.00(US)
  • Payouts will be $100.00(US), winner-take-all to Tournament Champion
  • Collection of entry fees and disbursements of payouts will be conducted through LeaguSafe.com
  • Prize money will not be disbursed until Friday of the week following the Tournament Champion being named (Week 17)

IV     Scoring

  • Offense: AF PPR offensive scoring settings

V     Rosters

  • Roster settings will be Custom Settings, not adhering to any AF Roster Format
  • Starting Roster is:  10 RB/WR/TE FLEX 
  • No Bench
  • There will be no trading of players in Tournament

VI     Draft

  • The Tournament draft will be live online on: Tuesday August 30, 2016 @ 9:00pmEDT
  • Draft will be serpentine style, 10 rounds in length
  • 60 seconds are allotted for each pick
  • Draft order will be randomized 30 minutes prior to draft by draft client

VII     Free Agency

  • There are no bench positions on team rosters in the Tournament
  • Teams are not required to field a complete starting line-up each week, and may ‘start short’ at their own discretion
  • Teams are limited to Twenty (20) transactions through the length of the season
    • If a player on any team should be placed onto the NFL’s IR list (either season-ending or scheduled-to-return) that team may replace that player without the transaction counting against their 20 allowed Add/Drop transactions
  • Free Agency will be set to Waivers
  • Waivers will be set to “Revolving Waivers, Does Not Reset, Move To Last After Successful Claim”
  • Initial Waiver order will be inverse of draft order
  • Waiver period is 2 days
  • Trades will not be allowed through the Tournament

VII     Season

  • The Ten/100 Tournament will be a 17 Week All-vs-All competition, weekly match-ups and main W-L-T standings are meaningless to the results of the Tournament
  • Each week, every team is competing against every other team for a total of 9 wins or losses or a combination thereof
  • Weekly and Season standings can be viewed on the Tournament’s Hosting site by clicking the “Breakdown” tab on the standings chart, this will show the results based on each team’s weekly score, of wins and losses of every team competing with every other team
  • Ties are permitted and are factored into the all-vs-all standings
  • The #1 ranked team by all-vs-all (“breakdown”) standings at the conclusion of Week 17 will be named Tournament Champion

VIII     Playoffs/Championship

  • There are no Playoffs in the Ten/100 Tournament
  • Tournament utilizes a 17 Week Regular Season in which all teams play all other teams each week, compiling a season all-vs-all W-L-T record which can be seen by clicking on the “Breakdown” tab on the hosting site’s standings chart
  • The #1 ranked team by these all-vs-all (“breakdown”) standings at the conclusion of Week 17 will be named Tournament Champion

IX     Tiebreakers

  • Weekly tie scores between one or more teams in the all-vs-all format are allowed and factored into the all-vs-all (“Breakdown”) W-L-T records/standings therefore there are no tiebreakers for any individual match-ups
  • If, at the conclusion of Week 17, two or more teams have identical, #1 W-L-T all-vs-all (“Breakdown”) records, order of tiebreakers for the Tournament Championship will be as follows:
    1. Total season points
    2. Highest total number of individual #1 weeks (number of weeks in which tied teams outscored all other teams)
    3. Lowest total number of individual #10 weeks (number of weeks in which tied teams were outscored by all other teams)
    4. Total combined number of touchdowns scored by all starting players on rosters of tied teams, Weeks 1-17
    5. Total combined number of 100 yard games by all starting players on rosters of tied teams, Weeks 1-17
    6. If teams are still tied after the 5th tiebreaker, the teams that are still tied are named co-Champions and the prize money is split

X     Special Rule

  • Participation in tournament is limited to one entry per household/IP address
  • After all tournament slots are filled but before draft order has been established, NFL.com will be contacted to verify that all participants registered with tournament are originating from different IP addresses to verify that no participant is registered with multiple teams
  • Multiple teams originating from the same IP address will result in immediate expulsion of all teams involved
  • It is recommended, that before the draft, each individual team verify for themselves that all teams are from different IP addresses; this can be done through the contact NFL tool (found in the FAQs), simply send an email, include league id number, and ask NFL to verify that no teams in the league originate from the same IP address
